About us
The generous & kind hearted Shri Bhausaheb Amritrao Keshvrao Kasar established Bahujan Samaj Shikshan
Prasarak Mandal in 1992 with his enthusiastic executive committee. The member of B.S.S.P. Mandal is from
various fields including medicine, education and commerce. These people came together and thought
seriously over the need of higher education especially to be included to the poor deprived and
hardworking students. It’s result, Arts, Commence and Science college came into existence in Songir
town. Shri Kasar started the college from 1996-97. The college is running successfully and getting
developed in all respects under the stable leadership and guidance of Principal Dr. K.B. Patil.

Our motto is “Vidywant Yashwant Laxmiwant Jan Kuru” i.e. our sole interest and devotion in making the masses ‘Learned’, ‘Successful’ and ‘Economically Strong’.

To impart quality based education to the student of rural, tribal and drought prone areas of Songir and surrounding villages as well as the students who belong to economically backward classes.

To create potentiality and overall personality development of the students through extra-curricular activities.

To create confidence, introspection and self respect among students having lack of comprehension, intellectual backwardness, interior complex and other weaknesses.

To aim at inculcating discipline among students to make them responsible citizens along with the awareness of social services.

To create noble sentiments like National Integration, Fraternity, Equality, Liberty self independence and sincerity among the students.

To create sense of equality between boys and girls among the rural areas of Songir and its surrounding area through rallies, NSS lectures of eminent personalities on the occasions of different programmes.
